What are Peptides?

Peptides are short chain amino acids found in all living organisms that are naturally occurring and assist the body in healing as well as many other functional processes. Peptides can be effective therapies to assist with physical and muscular recovery, weight loss, anti-aging, sexual health, hormone balance, and overall wellness.

Peptides are an effective method of decreasing recovery times in wounds,
postoperative healing, and muscular recovery by enhancing healing through
accelerating cellular processes and production of collagen and elastin with increased cellular turnover.

Peptides aid in weight loss by enhancing glucose function, increasing fat burning, stimulating growth hormone production, and enhancement of mitochondrial function.

Peptides combat aging by stimulating processes that slow down and stop as we get older. For example, in addition to stimulating growth hormone production, peptides can increase collagen production that naturally slows down after entering our 30s and stopping in our 40s.

Peptides can help with libido and sexual health by interacting with the nervous system. They work by receptor binding with melanocortin which are often less effective in persons with low libido or in aging persons.

Peptides can help with overall wellness through enhancing the immune system through regulation of immune system processes that become less effective over time.
